About me

My name is Vladan Strigo and I am a Software craftsman. I’ve been building large scale web applications professionally for the last 8 years, and in that time have been involved in a large number of projects primarily based on Microsoft technologies for both domestic and foreign clients. In recent times I am working as a Head of Development and as a Consultant for the Key clients of a Croatian outsourcing IT company NETmedia, which is a member of a large Direct Marketing group from Netherlands - M+. I live and work in Split, Croatia.

In my spare time I am an active participator of Microsoft community from both sides of the fence which basically means that I speak at local and regional conferences, organize local development community events (CodeCamps under the hat of MSCommunity and INETA), write this blog about whichever ramblings come to my mind and when not actively organizing or speaking on community events, at least participating as a part of community.

For my technical knowledge and community efforts I have been awarded a Microsoft MVP award in the ASP/ASP.NET area a couple of years ago which I hold to this day.
